Refunds & Cancellation

Effective 2 October 2026

The shortest honest refund policy available: during the pilot, nothing is charged, so nothing needs refunding. How that changes when paid capabilities activate is stated below, now, so it is never a surprise.

Today: the pilot is free

Nothing is charged during the pilot — no booking fees, no subscriptions, no deposits. A guest cancelling a booking, or a venue cancelling one, moves no money because none was taken.

Cancellations

Each venue publishes its own booking and cancellation terms — versioned, shown to the guest before they commit, and enforced as published. Guests cancel through the one-time link in their confirmation or by contacting the venue, which can find any booking by its DG confirmation code.

When paid capabilities activate

Deposits and other paid capabilities switch on per country, only behind a documented readiness review, and only after prices are published on the Pricing page. Refunds of any future deposit follow the venue's published cancellation policy, are recorded in exact integer amounts in the currency of the original charge, and above a set threshold require a second approver before they are issued. No automatic currency conversion ever applies.

Requesting a refund

Start with the venue — it sees the booking, the payment record and its own policy, and can act on the spot. If the venue cannot resolve it, write through the contact page and the request will be handled with the venue.
